Website Evaluations

Expedia might be one of the few travel sites that doesn’t confuse customers. The reason why it works well is because it is organized and has the most relevant information and or links on the home page. When someone enters this site, there are many options for that person to navigate to and from without any conflicts. Having the other (relevant) links that people will most likely create a new search for their search engine on one common page is convenient for users. It also plays a major role in the person(s) decision on how often he or she will use that website for trip planning. What also works are the links to different versions of the site for different countries. Travelocity is another popular travel website; however it is debatable on whether or not their search style is effective. Although Travelocity is similar to Expedia with the links to trip related searches, it is different in that one search can direct you to a page that shows for example, flights from different airl...

iMovie Experience

iMovie Experience Creating a self-video is not as simple as it sounds. There are things to be mindful of when shooting scenes on a smart phone. Lighting is extremely important because it effects the visibility and ultimately the quality of the video. Ensuring that there is not too much shaking occurring while recording is essential. Having to fulfill the requirements of filming in front of the camera and behind the camera is a struggle, especially when all content is being filmed by one person. REMEMBER SCONEX? I might've been about 13 or 14, and before I ever heard of Myspace there was Sconex. My cousins helped me make an account, and now that I think of it I was then what it is now to be the epitome of catfish which is hilarious. Everything was a lie - my name, my age even my profile picture, it was a photo of BeyoncĂ©. I remember religiously going online and checking my Sconex notifications, seeing who sent me friend requests, who in-boxed me, what people posted etc. At that age it’s easy to fall prey on the internet especially when you have little to any knowledge of the predators that exist online. There was this one boy I spoke to on there regularly, I never met him in person and never even heard his voice. I enjoyed speaking to him, I felt like I had another friend, that of which I never had many of. My mind was so premature that I never really stopped to question the real identity of that person. When you don't know any better you don't stop to ta...
